We were welcomed immediately and led to sit at a booth.

Drinks-wise, apart from the excellent hot green tea with unlimited refill, we ordered the Lemon Honey Iced Green Tea and the Lychee Thirsty, also a cold drink. I highly recommend the Lychee Thirsty, it was sweet but not overly sugary with a very strong and pleasant lychee flavour.

Food-wice, we ordered the Gyoza, Assorted Sashimi Platter, Assorted Sushi Platter, Wagyu Beef and Vegetables with Udon, Kani no Chahan (crab meat and crab tempura friend rice) and the Grilled Japanese Eel (with soyabean paste on aubergine).

They were all absolutely delicious, with our favourites being the sashimi, sushi, chahan and Japanese eel dishes. The cold dishes were light and fresh, and gave a lovely start to our dinner. While the hot dishes were thoughtfully brought to us in order of the severity of their flavour, with the grilled eel which had the most intense flavour brought to the table last, so that the other dishes don't lose their taste in comparison. All the dishes were expertly prepared with high quality ingredients, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

Dessert-wise, we ordered the Green Tea Tiramisu, Japanese panna cotta and Caramel & ginger Crème Brulee. Our waiter very kindly offered us two of the desserts on the house, perhaps due to the birthday celebration. we were extremely touched and delighted by this gesture.

The desserts were beautifully presented and very flavourful. My favourite was the Green Tea Tiramisu. The consistency and sweetness of the tiramisu itself combined with just the right amount of red bean, as well as the green tea ice cream made for a wonderful combination. It was an absolute treat for the taste buds. The Japanese panna cotta was wonderfully smooth and tasty. The Crème Brulee had a very strong ginger taste as promised, and was very delicious.

Overall, it was an exquisite dining experience with lots of delights. I would definitely come back again. I would also recommend it to anyone who enjoys a calm and relaxing dining atmosphere, whether alone or with a group of family and friends.
