A friend suddenly wanted to have lunch with me. Grappa immediately comes up to mind, because you always able to get a table at lunch time without reservation, despite all other restaurants are fully booked. It may be an indication of the kind of services and the quality of food.

As expected, we walked in, without reservation, and we were allocated to a 4-persons-table at the bar level, which was good to me because there were fewer tables, and less noisy then the main dinning area below.

We ordered 2 courses set lunch (appetizer and main course) at $145 each. They also provide 3 courses lunch, which include dessert as well. We both have caeser salad. My friend ordered chicken risotto. I ordered salmon steak.

The salad is of average quality, nothing special, and too little bacon. I have tried my friend's chicken, which was too dry. I have to swallow it with water. My salmon steak is pretty good, served with potato and asparagus.

The set lunch includes coffee and tea.

I think the waitresses are Filipino. There are not many people at the bar level, but with 3 to 4 waitresses. The service is therefore rather good, and they are rather attentive.

We end up paying $358, which include a bottle of still water ($35/bottle) and 10% service charge.
