To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一位服務員(相信是部長--’肥仔mug’務態度其差.詳情:我在9:30后入座,食宵夜小菜.本應想叫$1 特價煲仔反. ==> 冇檯因為有婚宴(咁應該早講.)之後,我就點了($28) o既"燒腩肉" 同埋"九菜炆豬紅鹵水脆豆腐" ($18). 再加$10/6支beer. 不一會, "燒腩肉" 到了, 但超肥. 要求更換.個位部長話都斬o左出來,冇得換.我再要求改為其他同價之小吃, 再次拒絕了. 理論中, 豆腐也來了. 只有豆腐. (原來九菜炆豬紅鹵水脆豆腐是兩樣小吃) 但菜牌上並冇寫明$18 為一款價錢. 我覺得好像入了’黑店一般’. 首先, 冇$1 之特價煲仔反, 然後又冇寫明$18 為一款價錢. 又唔肯換"燒腩肉”. 我就同’肥仔mug’講, 我現在走有冇問題, 佢話你唔俾錢出門口我唔知會有咩后果. 作為有品o既客人(我其實冇), 我當然唔會走. (只肯取消豆腐)我再諗深一層, 應該係’肥仔mug’個人問題. 跟隨, 我就請另一位部長更換"燒腩肉”為”豬頸肉”, 佢咪又肯換俾我.最終,點o左$28 ”豬頸肉”$28 “豉油王炒面”$10 “beer”
