The entire experience started out on the wrong foot and it quickly deteriorted from not so good to bad.

We waited in front to the restaurant looking at the servers running back and forth between tables, cleaning the tables, putting new utensils on there, setting the chairs right, etc.  However, it seems like no one knows what they are doing.  Those tables are not being filled and no numbers were called until several mins later while many of us waited and watched.

To my surprise, almost everything we picked were not availble for lunch and there were no signs on the menu as to what is avaialble for lunch.  The server did not know what was going on either and had to ask the kitchen a few times as to what is actually available.

We were soon given a dish that I did not order.  I had to show the order sheet to the server before he took the dish away as if my verbal communication: "I didn't order this dish" and "This is not my dish" made zero sense to him.

The actual taste of the meal was pretty good.  The pasta I ordered was decent and tasty.  However, here is the weird part.  Since none of us liked spicy food, we ask them to "remove the heat".  Waitress said "no problem" to us and it wasn't long before we got our food.

The strange part... When I asked to remove the spice/hot sauce, I expected the dish to go from "Spicy tomato sauce pork cutlet over rice" to "Tomato Sauce Pork Cutlet over Rice".  What I got was "Pork Cutlet over Rice with Spicy Tomato Sauce on the Side".  I have to say though, even without any sauce, the dish was pretty tasty.

The other dish we ordered was "Tomato Sauce with Hand Made Meat Balls and Penne Pasta" with hot sauce removed as well.  What we got was "spicy tomato sauce with hand made meat balls and penne pasta".  One has to wonder if they actually understood what I said when I ordered the dish.

Again, the meal wasn't bad and the spicy tomato sauce wasn't super hot.  I just cannot imagine the management there didn't give enough training to the servers before letting them on the floor.  If something is not available, tell the customer in advance.  If you can't make them in non-spicy sauce, tell me first.

This is the last time I will go back there, that is for sure.
