I went to Morty's because it was one of the few restaurants in Hong Kong that offered Ruebean sandwich, supposedly near US quality, but unfortunately I never management to sample it to rate it !Arrived at about 11:45 the place was almost empty with no more than 6 customers, but was refused a table, only bar available. OK, I sat down on the bar, but no, cannot sit here, last stool at corner. Even another dinner, the only one at the bar, got upset when hearing this and said why ? The bar was empty
Arrived at about 11:45 the place was almost empty with no more than 6 customers, but was refused a table, only bar available. OK, I sat down on the bar, but no, cannot sit here, last stool at corner. Even another dinner, the only one at the bar, got upset when hearing this and said why ? The bar was empty ! But I sat at this place they asked me to and for the next 15min or so the three waitresses were chatting, laughing, walking around... but no one came over to give me water or asked what I wanted to order.
As this point I stood up and walked to the nearest waitress and asked why I was not been served. She was shocked and stammered, a manager like person came and ask what was wrong, I told her and walked out.
Message to whoever owns this restaurant needs to serious look at their staff, including the manager in charge, they need serious training or they should not be employed in restaurant business.
