For around HKD 700 (basic brunch package), there are better choices in Central district. I was not impressed with their brunch package scheme when the basic package “free flow” only applies to juice and soft drink, alcohol package ranges from 899-1099. I was not impressed with their brunch package scheme when the basic package “free flow” only applies to juice and soft drink, alcohol package ranges from 899-1099. Semi buffet brunch at other Italian resto with this cost already with 2hrs free flow alcohol. They even don’t have coffee on their drinking menu, hmmm…..Latin America doesn’t drink coffee?

Starter is 4 types of ceviche which is merely a tablespoon size for each pax. 1 piece of Hokkaido scallop cuts into 4 portions garnished with 8 pieces of tobikos; 8 thin slices of salmon, the most generous out of the 4 ceviches, marinated with some citrusy juice. No culinary skills presented in them.

Main dish were all finger food sizes, out of which pulpo dish looked so disparate that all of us were wondering whether the server would come back with another plate. If I order A la carte grilled pulpo dish for around 238 in other restaurants, it will be one full piece tenacle. Here at Ichu, they are serving 4 pieces smaller than a shrimp dumpling as sharing dish. This is not acceptable. We called the server back and raised our concern, she went back to kitchen and brought another plate with 2x portion of first plate.

Even she apologized and made up for this, but that didn’t save them any credit as overall their food, slow service, musty napkin don’t worth this price.
