It is so tragic that the legendary Katong of Wanchai has closed down as well as their other branch in SW.Laksa Playground is here but it is not the same as they serve Malaysian style laksa.On the menu, you can choose the Malaysian Laksa broth or the Curry Laksa broth.So obviously, the curry laksa has curry flavour in it. but I wish the staff could explain how different the two broths were.I knew I had asked the wrong person because I got the answer that I deduced myself.Anyway, the laksa was gar

Laksa Playground is here but it is not the same as they serve Malaysian style laksa.
On the menu, you can choose the Malaysian Laksa broth or the Curry Laksa broth.
So obviously, the curry laksa has curry flavour in it. but I wish the staff could explain how different the two broths were.

I knew I had asked the wrong person because I got the answer that I deduced myself.

Anyway, the laksa was garnished with spring onions which turned out really strong and over powered the laksa and the vermicell in the soup was local stuff.
