Been listening to an Italian about this place, he said he is always happy about their food.Great, so this night he brought me here, it's a thursday night so there is live band performance. I am not a music person so next time i would avoid thursday for a happy chat with friends here.About the decor, it's exactly like a British bar, with all the high tables, in the middle those are the communal table that allows you to make friends, if you wish, or if you are alone you can easily grab a seat.Food

About the decor, it's exactly like a British bar, with all the high tables, in the middle those are the communal table that allows you to make friends, if you wish, or if you are alone you can easily grab a seat.
Food-wise, my Italian friend recommended this "ham and cheese sandwich" (i forgot the exact name). Bread is toasted, cheese ooze out, and so much ham that you won't complaint.
Together with fries, it's a safe combination that when you use good quality ingredients it's heavenly for everyone. It was heavenly for me! Fish and chips - it's in my must-order list wherever possible, and i consider it a dish that can reflect the quality of the place. Turns out it didn't disappoint me, nicely fried, can't see the oil all over the fish, the fish is still moist itself, but i could still see the fish with a thinner batter. Beer choices here are not plenty but the range is still wide, i was told that they try to pick the best from each brand instead of offering all the beer they can reach, it's clear that they don't want to be like one another bar you can find in causeway bay, and i think they did it.
