Back at one of my favourite places for cheap Malaysian eats. Been here many times already back when it only had a store in Sham Shui Po. This one at Mong Kok is huge! Had the luxury of visiting during a weekday lunch, and it was very spacious 😎 Ordered my favourite beef rendang with Nasi Lemak. Always love how they serve it with some salted peanuts and fish! Ordered my favourite beef rendang with Nasi Lemak. Always love how they serve it with some salted peanuts and fish! It’s the best mix of different textures. The beef rendang was quite spicy, so it’s perfect with the pandan rice.
I also tried the laksa for the first time and it was full of flavour and textures. The combination with lettuce also added a crunch to the bowl of noodles, making this dish a lot more interesting.
Their Kaya toast is also a must order for me, and it never disappoints! Have no idea how restaurants can actually make their toasts so crunchy, can never replicate this at home.
All this just for $174 for two, so worth it!
