We have been regular customers for many years. Last week was the last straw. Unless you order expensive dishes from the menu, the captains and waitresses always give you attitude while suggesting expensive items on the menu.We kept going back because we like their set menu and they also have our favourite dessert -- "but see banana" -- a dessert that is deep fried, dipped in ice water, then coated with syrup.There was six of us ladies for lunch last week. There was six of us ladies for lunch last week. We ordered a set menu for 4, and added three extra dishes from the regular menu. One of the captains, tall guy, wears glasses (in a black jacket), was commenting that we do not have enough, but we said it is okay since we added three more dishes. When my friend asked about changing the dessert from that set menu to the fried banana dessert., he said " you need to add money you know" in a very demeaning tone! What the hell! We knew and expected that, so my friend said okay, how much? He walked away in a huff after saying that he needed to check with the kitchen!! He came back and said it was $20 -- so BIG deal. Why the attitude! We also asked that he divide the four soups (from the set menu) into 6 servings. When the soup came, of course he did not do as we requested. When we asked one of the waitress, she said "you can divide it yourself, there are bowls on the table." Are you kidding?? The restaurant was only half full!! This lack of service is UNEXCUSEABLE. Their attitude is UNFORGIVABLE! We have overlooked their condescending attitude over the years, but NEVER AGAIN. We had 2 out of town guests and it was also very embarrassing..... Even though everyone had a good meal, we refuse to be ABUSED anymore! Good luck Festive Walk -- let's see how much longer you can stay in business with that staff of yours -- who is chasing your good customers away! Bye, Bye, Bye!!!
