Birthday month. One of the reasons we picked this restaurant was that they didn’t make us choose between 2 seatings- started at 7pm. We BYOB, corkage was ard $200-$300.Not a big menu. Enjoyed the salad too. Very crunchy with the nuts etc.
Duck char siu was very creative. BBQ sauce went well with the duck, tho the meat was a bit too chewy for my liking. Since the skin was covered in the sauce as well, it was not as crispy as I would’ve hoped. The accompanying greens were very fresh.
Nothing could go wrong with roasted cauliflower.
Pavlova as dessert. They played the happy bday song, all the servers sang and presented a card. Nice touch.
In summary, good place for casual dinner. Although menu wasn’t large, each dish seemed to be well thought out, with an abundant mixture of ingredients and flavours.
