V Thai is located in the new building Aura on Pennington. As Thai food lovers, my colleagues and I decided to give it a try for lunch.

Food: we ordered 4 lunch sets, which are a) Hoinan chicken with chicken oil rice, b) tom yum paste fried rice with shrimp, c) yellow curry with chicken, and d) fried vermicelli with pork.
The flavor is there, and I especially recommend the Tom yum paste fried rice! It’s such a nice hot hit in such a cold day. While it seemed wired to me that they put the sweet corn & egg purée there as a soup. Would love it if they served clean chicken soup.

Service: staff was nice and we felt welcomed there. Hope that they can keep such quality of service.

Environment: it’s rare to have such cozy place without crowds here in CWB. Decoration is new and appealing. I especially like the window side seats where you can have some view of the busy streets.

Addition: we’ve 2 coupons of the restaurant and 1 of the Korean one downstairs.

Come here for a second time? Yes! I saw those next to us ordered grilled fish, I’ll come for it next time.
