It had been a bit warm and humid and we felt that it was time for some appetising cuisine. We passed by this small Northern Vietnamese restaurant and decided to give it a try. The interior decoration was interesting with a number of guitars being hung on the walls.We decided to order 2 appetisers, 1 seafood dish and 1 carbohydrate dish to share. 蓮藕心鮮蝦沙律 arrived shortly. The dressing was quite sour and was very appetising. I had never tried 蓮藕心 before which were quite crispy and not overly chewy.

蓮藕心鮮蝦沙律 arrived shortly. The dressing was quite sour and was very appetising. I had never tried 蓮藕心 before which were quite crispy and not overly chewy. Interesting. Most veggies were fresh too.

The other appetiser 牛油雞翼 was even better. They were super freshly deep-fried and super hot when served. They were really good with the crispy skin and loads of garlic butter on them. Super evil.

香辣香葉炒藍貝 was the seafood dish we ordered. There were loads of lemon grass on it. The server told us that the blue mussels were from France. They were smooth and tender indeed although a bit tiny. The sauce was slightly spicy and appetising.

The carbohydrate dish was 北正宗牛肉湯河. It was pretty good because the noodles were super thin and smooth. The soup was good too with the lime which made it a bit sour and sweet. The raw beef slices were super tender too. There were some beef briskets, some beef balls and some 金錢肚 too. We drank all the soup!
In short, the overall quality of the food was quite good. The serving of food was efficient and attentive because we managed to finish one dish before the other came.
