A friend brought me here for lunch on a week day. Advanced reservation had been made but it seemed that walk-in was ok too because there were so many vacant tables. It looked more like a pub rather than restaurant. Must be busy during happy hours.Lunch menu was not expensive with quite a number of different choices. A soup and a salad came with the mains. It was Cream of Sweet Potato & Watercress Soup & Mixed Green with Shredded Cucumber & Carrot in Thousand. As complimentary items, I must admit that the soup was pretty nice which was creamy and concentrated enough while the portion of the salad was pretty big with fresh ingredients. I liked the little amount of salad dressing which made it taste healthier.

I was surprised when I saw my mains - Pan Fried Cod Fish Served with Eggplant Lasagna because I had expected a lasagna. I was later told that it was actually not really lasagna from the Chinese version of the menu. The cod fish was cooked pretty nice - fresh and rich in fish flavour and nicely cooked with the typical sweet taste. The eggplant lasagna was really special - which was something like pie made with eggplant. It was crispy and rich in carbohydrates to make you full. I also liked the dressing in the eggplant lasagna which was really delicious. I felt very full after finishing the whole plate although my stomach was really empty just before lunch.
A drink was included in the lunch set, even juices including grapefruit, orange, pineapple and apple juices.
At such a price with such quality of food, I would say it was not expensive. Would come back from time to time to try out other items.
