For this weekend, we visited Hiroshi! The cafe was bright and vibrant with both lunch menu, and delightful dessert. Definitely a place I’d recommend for weekend catch ups with friends!

LUNCH / MAINS

For starters, we went with the GRILLED SQUID. They were nicely flavoured with a nice chewy bite. Definitely appetite whetting! We followed up with the UNAGI RICE BOWL - the unagi was well seared with a nice rich sauce. To complete our mains, we got the LUNCH SET, which consisted of a nice mini beef pot, a serving of fries and miso soup.

DESSERT

We were spoilt for choices here. First, we got the MILLE FEUILLE MATCHA ICE CREAM. A great re-imagination of the classic French dessert! The ice cream had a rich tea flavour with that tinge of bitterness while the pastry was crusty and light. Second, we picked the HOKKAIDO VANILLA MILK PARFAIT. The thick milky flavours were well balanced by the candied fruit toppings. Last, we also had the SWISS ROLL - thick dense cake with a light cream! For our next visit, we’d definitely try their waffles and soufflé pancakes!
