I did a filtered search for Causeway bay Taiwanese drink in OpenRice, and decided to pick Lady BoBo as the reviews are basically all positive.When I arrived, I was curious as there were so many people queuing at the bubble tea place two stores over and only 2 person was ordering at Lady BoBo. Despite my gut feeling, I’ve decided to go for Lady Bobo as they offer one of the drink my son like.I’ve ordered a pineapple grape tea for my son, a dragonfruit grape tea for myself, and a BoBo roasted oolo
When I arrived, I was curious as there were so many people queuing at the bubble tea place two stores over and only 2 person was ordering at Lady BoBo. Despite my gut feeling, I’ve decided to go for Lady Bobo as they offer one of the drink my son like.
I’ve ordered a pineapple grape tea for my son, a dragonfruit grape tea for myself, and a BoBo roasted oolong milk tea for my wife.
The 2 fruit tea are basically syrup with no fruit taste mixed with a tiny bit of tea, although you can tell 1 fruit from the other because of the colours. The roasted oolong milk tea is way too sweet, and again with no tea taste at all.
I took the liberty to post a photo of the 3 drinks before we dump them into the trash can.
I’m surprised how there are so many positive reviews for this place, as there are so many competitors that offers better products than them.
