To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 雖然睇到好多食評話唔值等咁耐,但一直都好想試下~~~呢日8點左右去攞位,大約等左8個字 (已經比想像中快左)坐低之後感覺好似冇乜侍應咁~都好一陣先有人行過幫忙點菜~叫左2款牛肉、豬頸肉、冬菇同埋冷面~1人1杯飲品~見到餐牌有建議燒法,有種貼心既感覺~牛肉味道OK但係好韌~豬頸肉好普通~竟然最好食係冷面~死唔信邪叫多左個一口牛同牛舌~終於覺得好食既燒肉係牛舌~爽爆!最後2個人埋單400有多~等位時間、服務、食物質素、價錢唔太岩数呢 >.<最搞笑係埋單走人時,見到有位太太係門口等到有d唔耐煩~質問侍應「點解唔執左d枱比客人入,要人係出面等」先發現原來有好幾張枱已走但係冇人執枱~
