I always like to try new restaurants but when my friend suggested going to Sushi U, I was a bit concerned as I don't eat raw fish. Most good sushi restaurants serve mainly raw ingredients but my friend assured me there were lots of cooked dishes at Sushi U. The best thing in the salad bar was the crunchy croutons, they were so nice with the Japanese dressing

I liked the sauce with the beef, it had a slightly sour taste from vinegar and mashed ginger

Friend B's sashimi set is probably what the restaurant is more famous for as it was brought out by the Japanese chef himself

There was coffee ice cream as dessert and it was refreshing and replaced the need for a cup of coffee.
Everyone thought their food was excellent, fresh, authentic and the place very clean and bright. We considered joining the VIP club but decided once you have a VIP card, you are obliged to come and would probably end up not coming. Rather, we can try for the promotion where if you arrive at the restaurant before 1230, you can order a special set which allows you to try a few different items for $200. So now, there is a plan.
