This Soy Bean Curd noodles is a signature item on the menu of 雲南人家風味餐廳. Yes, I am with you, it might seem odd to have sweet bean curd to go with your savory noodles, but first mouthful of it would despite your thinking.
The soy bean curd didn’t taste sweet actually, it’s more like plain, soft and silky soy bean curd, which went so well with the noodles, together with the flavored minced meat.
I topped up my noodles with numbing spicy chicken, which was definitely a very great choice I would say.
One tip for eating this noodles - make sure you mix the sauce, minced meat and the noodles thoroughly before you dig in. First mouthful I had tasted really strong, as I didn’t quite mix everything well…
