The idea behind the #becausebrunch is great with unlimited Japanese and Italian starters, followed by a pasta, shared mains and champagne. However, we had a disappointing experience during brunch. It took forever for the servers to bring the sushi/sashimi platter. And then when we asked for another order, we had to ask three different waiters before they food was brought to us. However, we had a disappointing experience during brunch. It took forever for the servers to bring the sushi/sashimi platter. And then when we asked for another order, we had to ask three different waiters before they food was brought to us. The second platter only contained the cheap sushi/sashimi and the scallops disappeared. When we asked for scallops they told us there was no more. Not sure how they ran out of items as the restaurant was only half full on the day we went for brunch... Overall the taste of the cooked items was very average.
We had to repeatedly ask for the food and for top ups of champagne. The servers made us feel like we were begging for food and made the whole dining experience very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend this brunch and would not return again.
