We came here with kids for tea and thought it would be a good chance of educating kids on how to interact with animals.
Unfortunately, the experience was poor that the staff behaved excessive anxiety on our 1-yr kid. Perhaps my kid was excited and kept saying "Cat Cat..." during seeing the cats. Then the staff demonstrated an unfriendly way to my kid. Also, while we tried to ask them how to treat those cats then they ignored us and only responded all No-DOs (implied my kid not playing with cats) instead of showing the way how to interact with animals.
Furthermore, one of the staff said it was not recommended my 1-yr kid to come. It was outrageous that they did not mention this neither on the website, during booking nor meal ordering.
We have a cat at home thus understood why they cared for cats much and worried kid to hurt them accidentally. However, we do not agree this manner/ attitude that it might lose the original purpose of this cafe (as per my memory, this cafe had changed the owner).
I think this restaurant might be nice to those adults but it is absolutely not child/ kid-friendly.
Remarks - the food is so-so, and fairly speaking that lovely cats and nice environment are the niche of this type of restaurants.
