My friend and I were walking along Hollywood road- which has evolved into a Soho like district with many new restaurants. We were immediately attracted by the decor of Grassroots. The main course was quinoa, with a chicken-like textured mushroom. This dish, unfortunately, was not as tasty as I expected it to be. The sauce with the quinoa was sour and I didn't think it went well together. For dessert, I chose the raspberry and mango cake. I think there used coconut oil to substitute butter(?) , so the cake gave coconut aroma.
