This was my tenth or so visit to the establishment. I ate the asparagus with sesame and the spicy snapper fillet for appetizer and then went on to eat their slow cooked rack of lamb and a veal shank. We had a petit chablis to make sure we do not go thirsty.I agree with many of the reviews that this is not 100% authentic and it is not what the herders used to eat 100 years ago in Yunan. I agree with many of the reviews that this is not 100% authentic and it is not what the herders used to eat 100 years ago in Yunan. It is not home cooking and feels a little bit like Chinese cuisine for New York. It is true that it is not cheap

But who cares really because the food is good, the service is good and the ambiance will never disappoint any guest from out of town. I was going back again with a guest from Shanghai who enjoyed the food and the atmosphere: it never fails to work (and the slow cooked rack of lamb is really good)
