Attended the venue a little over a month ago with guests from overseas. Completely overrated and bad service by staff and restaurant management, this place is an embarrassment to all eateries in this country. Service - As soon as we sat down, we were forced to hurriedly select our main dishes despite not even having had to time to peruse the menu. But then again, there is nothing particularly special on the menu to peruse because I asked for a dish to be slightly amended, and was met with staunch resistance. The initial waitress who served clearly had an attitude problem, which everyone on the table felt. When I informed her that we had not even had time to properly review the menu to select the main dishes, she threw open a menu and started stabbing at each of the items in an attempt to highlight what we should and should not eat.
Food - see paragraph above. I asked for a dish to be slightly amended, which was apparently impossible despite the fact that both ingredients were on the menu and the ingredients i asked for were not scarce. Further, an additional entrée which we did not order was given to us accidently, which we decided to accept to keep the peace given the waitress was rude and aggressive.
The most disappointing thing was the feedback from the restaurant manager: they did not address the crux of the issues raised, nor did they apologise for the lack-lustre service. For a “well established” restaurant, they certainly did not live up to the expectation. Take your friends and money elsewhere, there are plenty of other places that actually understands how to serve like a proper restaurant.
