To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Called me up at 11 to tell me the kitchen needed extra time to prepare and asked if I could delay for half an hour...no problem.  Only waited for us to order - not when they called, not when we were seated - did they notify their in-house pasta was unavailable and was replaced by off-the-shelf regular substitute...a definite no. Honest mistake, such as breaking a glass (and taking 5 minutes for someone to clean it), and forgetting to notify the kitchen to prepare our mains until appetizers were

Honest mistake, such as breaking a glass (and taking 5 minutes for someone to clean it), and forgetting to notify the kitchen to prepare our mains until appetizers were finished for a good 10 minutes - although unprofessional - I can understand. Deceit I cannot tolerate. Besides, none of the food was actually good (dessert in contrast was decent). Don't get why some restaurants survive while others much more deserving don't.
