Booked a table for 3 on a weekday dinner time. There are two fixed time-slots for dinner - starting either at 18:00 or 20:45. We weren't able to make it at 18:00 after work, and so we opted for the 20:45 slot instead. Upon arrival we were assigned to a table straightly without waiting. The place only has less than 15 tables, and it was almost full by around 21:15. We chose the crab cake as the appetiser as it seemed quite special. The portion was really small and we could only each share a bite. The crab meat was carefully picked out from the crab shell and made into a cake shape. The crab meat tasted freshly sweet, making it to a refreshing dish together with the salad.

The focaccia was hot enough and soft like a sponge. The amount of rosemary was just adequate to add some lovely flavor to the plain bread but not too overly tasted. There was some butter in it too - made it great for dipping into the sauce of the seafood bag later.

Finally it came the long-awaited seafood bag! We chose the 5 options (platter B) with prawn, mussel, baby octopus, scallops and long leg crab legs. As we were not fond of spicy food, we had the lemon butter sauce. The lemon butter sauce was very buttery and smooth, probably used a lot of melted salted butter, which made the sauce quite salty actually. The lemon juice lessened the heaviness of the butter, making it a good combination. I could just drink the sauce like soup hahahaaa
However, the procedure of making the seafood bag was actually boiling the seafood, and then shake the bag of seafood with the sauce. Thus, the sauce wasn't absorbed into the seafood at all. Also, the quality of the seafood was just so-so. They are not particularly fresh nor sweet given such price, especially the prawns were not crunchy at all. I couldn't put the blame onto the restaurant as I supposed that was the American way of hot seafood bag, and I guess the chef had already interpreted the dish well. It was just that I prefer the Chinese way of making seafood, such as steaming or stir-frying with garlic and spice in a wok, retaining the sweet juice and crunchy texture while highlighting the freshness of the seafood. Back to the hot seafood bag, there were some sliced small pork sausages and whole new potatoes accompanied the seafood. These sides made the dish more filling, but again it didn't particularly go well with the seafood taste.

As a whole, the food was just so-so, but the price is kinda high for the quantity of food. We weren't really full for paying such price, but the choice and quality of the food didn't persuade us to order more in the restaurant. I guess I would not return to this place even if I was craving for seafood.
