I thought Locomotive was more of an authentic restaurant, but I was way wrong! my friend and I had ordered 3 dishes, none of them made a good impression. To be real, it was more like bad impressions. We ordered the Assorted beef noodle soup ($98), I guess the fatty beef and soup were ok, but the restaurant decides to put 2 beef balls in it which was probably not the best idea. I thought Locomotive was more of an authentic restaurant, but I was way wrong! my friend and I had ordered 3 dishes, none of them made a good impression. To be real, it was more like bad impressions. We ordered the Assorted beef noodle soup ($98), I guess the fatty beef and soup were ok, but the restaurant decides to put 2 beef balls in it which was probably not the best idea. We also order the crab soup based noodle ($108), it had absolutely nothing but noodles in it. *Where is my crab soup base? * I felt really ripped off from this dish. I'd say I would pay no more than $25 for this bowl of vermicelli really. The last dish we ordered was the spicy chilly quail ($82). This little chicken was so not spicy, but rather sweet! Im pretty sure they just slabbed on honey and popped the chicken into the oven. Now I know a quail is a small bird, but this one especially, was deformed. One of it's wing was the size of my 2 baby finger nails together. The food was so crappy that we didnt end up finishing all the dishes. And we also found ourselves super thirsty after this meal, meaning there must have been way too much msg in the noodles soups. It is sad to say but I will not return to this restaurant.
