I'm from Vancouver and have been eating Vancouver pho for the past 20 years of my life. When I saw on a local media outlet that this new joint wanted to bring a taste of proper pho from Vancouver I was so pumped.

Unfortunately when I tried it, the taste failed to deliver. I gotta say I've had better pho than this, even by HK standards. I can taste that the broth has been obviously a huge part of the recipe, but it doesn't even come close to what it tastes like in Vancouver. The portions weren't great either (for a regular bowl) but I think for HK pricing it wasn't bad.

When I first heard the story of this pho joint I thought to myself that its definitely a great opportunity to sell more than just the product. The experience of pho is a unique experience in Vancouver; it's the go to spot for late night dinner, after drinking, on a weekend with friends.

Really good selling point, just poorly executed..guess I'll have to go back to Vancouver for my pho.
