Yes, I'm talking about the yoghurt - and yes - I'm writing a review for fish & meat!係 你無眼花,我係為咗個 yoghurt 寫一個食評俾 fish & meat : PIt was a lovely Sunday brunch - a little birthday celebration with my girlfriends : )Although this is my first visit for brunch, I've been assured that their selection of antipasti buffet, comprising of fresh salad, seafood and pancake station, already worths the visit. It was a lovely Sunday brunch - a little birthday celebration with my girlfriends : )
Although this is my first visit for brunch, I've been assured that their selection of antipasti buffet, comprising of fresh salad, seafood and pancake station, already worths the visit.
Oh yes, the salad was so good and heavenly for a veggie lover like me.
I gorged down without pausing to take pictures... yummmm!
My favourite salad of the day was <Cauliflower marinated in coconut curry sauce, with Chickpeas and Mango>. When I returned to the salad bar for the third time (yes, that pretty much sums up my love for veggie!), feeling slightly disappointed at the almost empty bowl of that cauliflower salad... The chef was so friendly that he offered to present a small bowl of the salad for me separately! (Thank you !)
The pancakes were fluffy and flavourful with a generous selection of toppings - no wonder the pancake station was so popular that the waitress almost never had a chance to take a rest from tossing all the pancakes!
The brunch menu offers a pretty wide variety of choices for Mains - from brunch options like <Smoked salmon, avocado with poached egg and frittata> to pasta, and of course, fish <Pan fried Barramundi with Pak-choy and chargrilled Sweet Corn> and meat (some steak which I've mentally filtered out of my mind...haha!).
With a bit of hesitation, I went for <Yoghurt topped with Granola, mixed Berries, sliced Banana and Honey> since I've already tried their Barramundi during restaurant week a month ago.
At first, I wasn't sure if it was an apt choice for Main at almost 2:30pm on a Sunday.
Seriously, I was so glad that I went for this unconventional choice!

Let me make myself vert clear - picture doesn't do this yoghurt justice!
It may look like a bowl of plain yoghurt topped with some fresh fruits with the right amount of granola and honey, such that it's not overly sweet.
淨係睇相 真係睇唔出呢個 yoghurt 有幾咁好味...
睇落好似簡簡單單 自已都可以準備 甜度適中 嘅一碗 yoghurt...

My mind went blank - I couldn't think of a better word and just kept saying to my girlfriends, how fresh it was!
Everyone who tried a spoonful couldn't help nodding speechlessly in agreement.
It didn't go runny, and stayed flavourful, silky and creamy despite standing in room temperature for quite some time when we were carried away chatting.
This is probably the best yoghurt I've had in Hong Kong... it's beyond the satisfaction an imported creamy Greek-style yoghurt sold at high-end supermarkets (which are pretty over-priced) could bring.
Ummm.... I savoured each spoonful despite already feeling more than half full from all the salad.
除咗 新鮮 (只怪我詞窮)
我諗唔到第二個詞典去形容 果種 creaminess...
姊妹們試後 都覺得好味到無語!
而且即使我地顧住傾計 個yoghurt都無變味 或 變稀
All in all, we had such a lovely time! Services were great, the waiters were polite and helpful, and were accommodating to our need for warm water. We chatted all the way till almost 4pm, and the staff did not "usher us" out : )
總括而言,今次個brunch真係值得讚!服務好好,我地傾到差唔多4點 都無被催離座 : P
