Tried out St Regis’s Chinese New Year themed afternoon tea🧧

They serve their afternoon tea differently to other hotels where you can choose 4 savouries & 4 sweets yourself. First, they serve the savouries, then scones and lastly the sweets.

Both sweets & savouries were nice, except the scones were just mediocre. One thing that I have to mention is their excellent service! Staff were very friendly and they always made sure your tea were always full and hot!

P.S. They have a champagne ritual at 5:30pm everyday which was hosted by their executive chief sommelier, Tristan Pommier, who would open the champagne with a knife and every guests will get a glass of it 🍾

Unlike other hotels, St Regis serves their afternoon tea with a trolley instead of a 3 tier stand

While most of the Chinese New Year themed afternoon tea don’t taste well, St Regis’s one surprised me!

I particularly like this one, the outside is just like the texture of pancake
