Food was good enough although I agree with another reviewer about it being over hyped. But the service ruined the experience for us somewhat. We have big appetites and like trying a lot of dishes, so we weren't too surprised when the waiter advised us to subtract one or two dishes as that's the usual response we get. Our usual reply is that we can eat a lot so it's fine, but this waiter kept arguing with us about it when people will usually accept this response and let us order what we want. He
We have big appetites and like trying a lot of dishes, so we weren't too surprised when the waiter advised us to subtract one or two dishes as that's the usual response we get. Our usual reply is that we can eat a lot so it's fine, but this waiter kept arguing with us about it when people will usually accept this response and let us order what we want. He said he would hold off on ordering the mains until we finished the first couple of dishes first. We said it would be fine and we could order all the dishes now. He insisted that he hold off on the last 2 dishes until we finished the food first - what happened to what the customer wants instead of what the waiter wants?
Don't think we will be returning as it was pricey for standard Japanese food and the service doesn't make up for the price.
