After reading all the comments here, we decided to have a try a Dap. For a dinner of 2 for almost 900, I was expecting a quality of a restaurant like those in SOHO or simply more. After reading all the comments here, we decided to have a try a Dap. For a dinner of 2 for almost 900, I was expecting a quality of a restaurant like those in SOHO or simply more. So I must say I am quite disappointed. This is a merely a high ended chinese style french cuisine. The food was average, we ordered the set dinner, not much choice to pick from. Soup of the day was Cream of mushroom only. The portion of the dishes were small, we ordered steak and fish as our main course. It was really average, in fact, they didn't even ask how we would like the steak to be cooked, until we remembered and reminded them.
Having been to so many places in SOHO and central area, highly recommend for those really looking for real western/ french food, this is not the one. A random lunch at SOHO of those for 99 bucks only, you can get better quality than that. But for a nice quiet place, it is a good choice. Well, not even good for big crowds, since it's way too quiet and dark there.
