Lot of hype about Teavers (including a big shout-out from Time Out) ... but it doesn't live up to it.Teas are about $48 a cup. Even by the inflated standard of Starbucks' price for coffee ... that's steep.So, given the buzz and the price we were expecting the greatest cup of tea ... ever. So, given the buzz and the price we were expecting the greatest cup of tea ... ever.
We tried the Ginger Oolong Phoenix and Jasmine Green Tea.
Both were fine ... but hardly remarkable. I wouldn't suggest anyone go more than 2 minutes out of their way for either.

The ambiance and service are typical Hong Kong: cramped and perfunctory.
Would not recommend you trek out to the East Island for it.
