We arrived there for dinner at 6:30 with high expectation given its reputation.

The decor ties with its menu, very minimalistic, which we were actually hoping for a shop dedicating all its effort in 3 main items would be able to excel.

The laksa was average - coming with prawns, tofu puffs, shredded chicken etc in thick soup with very strong coconut milk and mild spiciness. Just not as traditional as we expect.

Prawn mee was also average - with pork belly, fried garlic, plain prawns, clean soup but it’s with better aroma than laksa.

The kaya toast was the best after all.

Then we were asked to leave at 7:20 coz there were ppl waiting outside even if we were yet to finish our drinks. Seriously? And it’s cash only.

All in all, if it needs a long wait, not worth it. Personally, nvr again.

If a restaurant that opens at 11:30 closes at 8 is aiming to run in high turnover, instead of squeezing the time out of your customers like in fast shop chain, please think abt how to improve your own way of working and quality.
