I was looking around for a nice date night restaurant (specifically an oyster bar) with my wife as a temporary escape from our 'loving' (but a bit needy) baby boy. Through a close friend of mine, I heard about this restaurant and their 'oyster omakase' experience. (I do believe they are doing soft launch right now so I'm not 100% sure about whether it's by appointment only or if they are officially open to walk-ins.. better call to check?)Anyways.. Anyways.. I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of oysters (tried it a few times when I was young and couldn't stand the taste/texture). Until recent years I've learned to appreciate it but have always needed lemon juice, hot sauce and a bunch of other condiments..
Through this experience (12 oysters shucked infront of you and paired with all sorts of exotic arrangements), I'm now even more in love and can clearly tell the difference in taste when having the oyster freshly served within seconds after shucked.
I'm writing this review because I truly feel I walked out of this restaurant with a renewed appreciation for oysters and definitely an excellent place to impress the significant other 😉
P.S. Price point is above average but again, you get what you pay for.. easily the best oysters in HK
