I had a craving for pancakes and heard that The Pantry reopened its doors after its exit from Elements. The new space is smaller than before but maintains a neutral and relaxing decor. At the moment it’s a soft opening so the menu is limited, not sure what they will offer as the limited menu is actually quite good. I order the banoffee creme brûlée pancakes, as it reminded me of an awesome banoffee pie I had in Bangkok last week. When the pancakes (2) arrive the presentation was good maybe lacking a little burnt sugar. For the taste, well you’ll get what you got at the original Pantry which is soft yummy soufflé pancakes. Only complaint is that there could have been a little bit more burnt sugar. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu.
