Paua fritters are a traditional New Zealand dish made of minced black abalone (paua) coated in batter and fried.Tried it because I was curious.I couldn't quite find any minced abalone in the patty but it did have a fishy seaweed taste. Not quite what I was expecting but at least I have tried it without travelling to NZ.
