Tucked away in a side street, this little gem deserves to remain hidden, known only to those who appreciate a place which provides a cozy hang out and good food. Best to call and reserve a table as it's really quite a small place. Another thing I liked about it was that the smoke from the grill was efficiently exhausted so I didn't go home with smelly clothes and hair.The dinner deal of drinks with 4 skewers is a good bargain, but naturally we ordered more on top of the set. The meat items were cooked with a nice crispy surface but the meat still remained tender and moist. Seasoning was well balanced and enhanced the flavours. We had pork with peppers, beef with asparagus, various chicken items, and all were consistently good. The scallops were large but a little bit on the dry side. The fried chicken had quite a lot of fatty skin.
The tofu salad was big enough for the three of us to share.The vegetable items such as eggplant and mushrooms were also tasty, with miso sauce to compliment the eggplants.
