To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

After a long day at work, we found a nice spot to enjoy our meal and have some good chat. We come across this restaurant around the corner called YiHungYuen hotpot cuisine , the decoration was fancy enough to caught our attention and we decided to try it out. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere in the shop was amazing and the service was on the point. Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere in the shop was amazing and the service was on the point.

We order two different soup as they charge the same price which was the coconut chicken soup and the Chinese tradition chicken soup. In between we more prefer the coconut chicken soup because it make all our other ingredients taste sweeter.

We order quite a few of different dishes, which include various of handmade meatball, I strongly suggest to order the handmade squid ball, the tendency was strong. It literally can bound in your mouth.

We also order the beef platter which include 3 different kind of beef. The beef cube was my love, it should not be over cook, 30 seconds will do the trick. After that without dipping sauce, you can taste the strong beef favour and the beef fat will enhance the sweetness in between bites.

Forget to mentions, there is also a lucky draw ongoing. We manage to get ourself a free bottle of wines. They offer white and red wines, with hotpot I suggest red wines will be perfects.

We do order one special dish called coral mussels. After tasting it, the flavour wasn’t strong but the texture is good. Dip it with your favourite sauces and just enjoy the texture.

The overall experience was good in there, the price was alright, the atmosphere was amazing, by consider the location. I would recommend to others to try out this restaurant.
