Dinner for 2 on weekday.

Still looking for a decent viet pho shop in HK, and
since we pass by it daily, gave it a try.

We had the basics:

Beef Pho and Lemon Grass Pork Chop Rice

The soup for the Pho is too salty, and not clear enough, lacking the sweetness one finds usually. Also the restaurant placed the mint leaves and bean spouts already.. I prefer to put them in myself. The beef themselves are fine... ALSO, HK Pho noodle itself is different from the States in different texture and composition.

Pork Chop is pretty generous sized, but lack flavoring and not enough herb.
Although the cutting of the meat is over fattening. The rice is the typical chinese kind, not the hardier type usually used. I do like the fried garlic shavings though.

Overall a so so experience. Due to the lack of good vietnamese restaurants in HK, maybe that's what I will have to live with?
