It’s my second time dining in Pici, my first at their TKO Capri spot actually and it was okay!We arrived at around 12:50 and got in after queuing for half an hour. It was a weekday as we anticipated a shorter/ no queue, turned out it’s even more popular than we thought. So come earlier for lunch! The TKO spot is relatively downsized when compared to their other branches, but the environment is still decent and comfortable. I was disappointed with the lack of variety of ham for the appetiser. There was only one type of ham, along with multiple pieces of melons. The quality was fine.

Next up we had the lasagna! It was served hot and we loved its flavourful aroma!!! Generous amount of cheese on top, and the lasagne was indeed soft and went well with the sauce. It would be much better if there were more beef though.

My favourite course of the meal — the orecchiette! Al dente! A splendid job for its chewy texture! I couldn’t handle spicy food usually, yet its spiciness was addictive! The pork was a great combination with the sauce, filling your mouth with rich and dynamic flavour. Again, the amount of pork could definitely be more generous. But I think this is a must-try if you pay a visit here.

Tiramisu arrived to mark the end of our meal. Frankly speaking, I’m not a fan of their tiramisu. It’s a bit too sweet for me, and the taste of coffee was quite mild. The creaminess ought to be praised though, still it was a let-down as tiramisu was Pici’s signature.

Overall, food was okay, and the orecchiette was exceptional! Service was fine and staff were helpful in refilling water.
