Pineapple bun is definitely one of the most famous and adored local food in Hong Kong. I particularly like those with a thick piece of butter in it. Ours Kissa-Ten has definitely upped the pineapple bun game by giving it a Japanese touch. I got a green tea one to try. The crust of pineapple bun was so crunchy that the top was already smashed when the staff put it in the take-away bag…It wasn’t good for photo-taking, but at the same time, it was so delicious as it was so crunchy! I love a pineapple bun with crunchy top! The bun itself was very fluffy! So so delicious!
As for the ice cream butter, it was definitely made with top notch green tea ice cream which had a strong matcha flavor. Love it!
I got a set, which came with a small drink. The taro milk inside was so milky with legit taro bits! Amazing! Not artificial at all! I’m sure I would be back for other desserts and drinks!
