1. The coffee was watery and tasteless. I ordered a piccolo and a latte.I could only taste milk in both.2. The staff were rude and unfamiliar with their food and operations. Scone served plain without butter nor cream nor jam until I asked for it and the staff yelled at the others “Hey do we have cream?”. 3. I ordered downstairs and went upstairs to wait for my coffee as I was told staff upstairs would prepare the coffee. After waiting for 15 mins and looking at both staff upstairs playing mobile and chatting, I went to the counter and asked for the coffee. She stared at me and asked in v rude tone: “Did you give me your receipt?”. I sweared I asked in a nice way but she made me feel I was bothering her. “No one told me I needed to give receipt to you. And here you go”. Then after 3 mins she put down a coffee n gone without saying a word, continue to chat with another staff. After 5 mins I went to counter and asked if they were making another one. She asked “what did you order then” with a bad attitude. I just gave her a receipt 5 mins ago and obviously you didnt really take a serious look. Told her to look at the receipt again and she just replied “OKAY” with an annoyed face. The another coffee came with a horrible presentation. No apologies, No basic respect. The whole experience was like I was disturbing the staffs having a good time of themselves, chatting, playing mobile, and eating takeaway.
The only upside of this coffee shop is decoration and space, go if you simply want a seat or and IG pic. If you want a good cup of coffee and minimal respect from staff, there are tons of good choices around Sheung Wan area.
