This place has been in Causeway Bay for a long time and I've never actually tried it. So, on this chilly day, I decided to have a warm bowl of noodles and came here.I had woken up a late in the afternoon and arrived here for afternoon tea time. I was informed there was no 10% service charger during afternoon tea. So, why not try something new?The restaurant is strangely dark. The chairs were velvet cushioned. It oddly felt more like a bar than a restaurant let alone a Vietnamese restaurant. Ther

The restaurant is strangely dark. The chairs were velvet cushioned. It oddly felt more like a bar than a restaurant let alone a Vietnamese restaurant. There were tv sets strategically located all over the restaurant. I felt like I was in a Karoake bar. I ordered the raw beef and brisket pho ($39). Bowl was small but at least it was filled to the brim with noodles. Soup base just tasted sweet like MSG sweet. No beef flavor. Beef was soft. There was only spring onions and bean sprouts in the bowl. No basil could be found.
