本來今晚約了去附近的一家西餐廳,可惜竟然預訂也早已滿座,更何況walk-in客呢,所以唯有轉戰這間名堤,隨隨便便吃個生牛肉濛河便回家吧。這餐廳地方非常寬敞,佔地一整層,基本上也不需要等位。生牛肉濛河: 湯底鮮甜而不膩,光喝也不感油膩或渴,既清甜而不會過淡,是蠻不錯的。湯底夠熱,能把生牛肉慢慢灼熟,此能令牛肉保持嫩滑質感而不會老掉。整體來說,味道蠻討好的。

平時食越南/泰國嘢都偏貴,所以今次見到有呢種放題就仆倒嚟食。米紙卷係手工菜,而且好好食,仲可以任食。但食咗幾碟,有其中一碟米紙比較韌,其他都好味,但可能醬汁錯配,點撈檬嘅汁仲好味過佢跟配嘅醬。馬來炒貴刁,味道有D似星洲炒河。馬拉炒通菜或介蘭都好惹味。甜品方面,香芒黑糯米同香芒雙皮奶都好香。撈檬勝在細細份,檬粉夠爽身,燒雞扒唔會鞋。牛油雞翼剛炸起,又香又脆。可惜串燒有D鞋,但調味依然ok。牙車快、無骨鳳爪味道都恰到好處。(可能會有人覺得鳳爪偏酸,但因為喜歡濃味,所以ok)反而青木瓜沙律冇乜味。其他食物味道中至中上,而服務都唔錯。員工幾有禮貌,收碟亦收得好快。唯一要改善就係可以考慮俾落單紙D放題食客落單,唔駛次次都要員工寫一大輪。總括,物有所值!

星期六跟女朋友在老銅行街買野,於是揀了這間<<名堤>>的東南亞餐廳食下午茶。上到去裝修感覺有點像沙嗲王,有水車修飾。坐了兩人的卡位,都幾舒服。今天我點了一款冬陰湯海鮮米線,原本很期待的,誰知來到了面前,感覺是一碗冬陰湯..很稀,又或者是給吃完了的喇沙海鮮米線,湯底入口真的有似冬陰湯....不太像喇沙海鮮有蝦,蟹柳,蜆仔同墨魚圈,算幾多款,不過都細細隻。雖然是下午茶,但係四十幾蚊都唔應該咁少料,至少米線都多返少少。兩三口便給我吃光。米是不是粗幼配搭的那種,口感少了一種層次感。以這個計來說,我寧願去吃個車仔麵也更值得喔。

Lemongrass Porkchops with Cold Vermicelli ($55). This came with a choice of drink that you can upgrade to special Vietnamese drinks for an extra $5. The pork chops were a really oily but serving size was pretty big. The vermicelli was ok though the sauce used was  bit too watery and didn't have much flavor.

Ice Mixed Fruit Mint Tea ($28). As I had dinner already, I didn't want to order a meal for myself so I just ordered a drink. At night they have a drinks menu that includes alcohol. I had a mocktail which cost onlyl $28. The drinks from this drinks menu are made by a bartender that I didn't notice during the day time. I assume he only works at night. My drink is on the left. Boyfriend's is on the left which is a Vietnamese coconut three color drink and this came with the set that he ordered. Comparing this, you can tell the difference. The drink I ordered separately and was made by the bartender had small shaved ice while boyfriend's made by the kitchen was just chunky blocks of ice. For $28, my drink was a pretty good deal. It tasted pretty good, too. Super minty and tasted like a mojito without the alcohol. I liked it a lot.

I guess drinks at night are pretty good here if you get it from the bar. Food is cheap and ok though at night they have a tea charge and 10% so all this came out to $70 for a bowl of mediocre noodles. But I guess come here at night for the drinks. Skip the food.

今次首次試食咖喱牛坑腩飯:辣辣地,味香濃,牛腩夠淋,食咖喱要有的薯仔都有2粒,好味絕對食哂成碗飯。

今餐收費$55,冇加一,水準保持,又多位唔洗等,不過就一定唔好期望有很好的服務,話哂午餐繁忙時段。

星期六晚睇完戲十點左右,去搵晚飯食但又唔想食太多,行行下行到名提下面,見到阿姐介紹佢哋個消夜餐牌,於是就走左上嚟,由於佢地方大,所以唔駛等位!今次兩個人點左生牛肉湯河$45,非常大碗,湯亦濃郁,牛肉質素唔錯,河粉亦夠滑!香茅豬扒炒烏冬$55,上枱時非常大碟,食落去味道好夠,豬扒肉質好淋亦好重香茅味道,我真係第一次見到有碟豬扒烏冬係豬扒仲多過烏冬,切開左有成八至十塊!仲有佢嘅熱咖啡,好香味道亦好!幾十元有如此美味確實不錯!

今日同成班朋友來到呢到食lunch, 食呢間系因為lunch time 吾洗等位啦,哈哈,一心林住貪個方便 甘呢,我就簡左個羅宋湯啦~~~ 呢個羅宋湯ok好飲,吾會好咸,幾多料系入面 甘我就叫左個雞排腸仔意粉啦,好普通, 不得不失,同普通餐聽既無乜分別只有一條腸仔和一塊扒不過勝在意粉夠多份量  哈哈好大碟加! 我都無食晒D椒汁都幾入味加真心果句,系causeway bay 來講,50幾蚊一個lunch吾算貴,只不過,我覺得呢個好普通,無乜特別

This place has been in Causeway Bay for a long time and I've never actually tried it. So, on this chilly day, I decided to have a warm bowl of noodles and came here.I had woken up a late in the afternoon and arrived here for afternoon tea time. I ordered the raw beef and brisket pho ($39). Bowl was small but at least it was filled to the brim with noodles. Soup base just tasted sweet like MSG sweet. No beef flavor. Beef was soft. There was only spring onions and bean sprouts in the bowl. No basil could be found.

The noodles were super soggy. Definitely overcooked. This made it even worse as it was soaked in the soup. So, it became one big bowl of mushy noodles. It was also extremely oily. I've never had pho this oily before.

To make matters worse, I bit into a bone shard when I bit into the beef. I've never had bone shards in my beef slices before. This was a first.

Prices were cheap and definitely a popular place for people who work in this area as an alternative to the cha chan tengs surrounding. It definitely felt like a cha chan teng that served Vietnamese. I won't be back.
