Cloud Nine Specialty Coffee is a new cafe on Morrison Hill Road in Wan Chai. I had two cups of coffee prior visiting Cloud Nine Specialty Coffee, so I just got myself something for an early dinner. This Golden Open Toastie is quite pricey. For HKD$85, I got two medium sized French toast with cheddar cheese, bacon, and caramelized banana on top. A few strands of veggies on the side as “seasonal salad”.

The cheddar cheese and bacon were ordinary. Oh well, they are always good to go on pancakes and French toasts. However, the caramelized banana and maple syrup caught me off guard. It was kinda weird to have these sweet toppings with the savory French toasts, so I ended up eating the caramelized banana on its own…The whole dish was quite good and reasonably filling. Yet, it didn’t worth HKD$85 on its own…
