[Houbou Sashimi]
Apart from the extensive menu items, daily offers are written on a chalkboard. Upon the waitress’ recommendation, we opted to try this lesser-known fish that had a mild sweetness, which paired well with the delicate yuzu vinegar sauce. Each slice was thinly sliced and sophisticatedly presented, elevating the entire experience.

[Shellfish Sashimi on Sushi Rice]
As one of the dinner sets, this don came with a steamed egg and miso soup. There were 4 types of fresh shellfish sashimi - uni (sea urchin) that was exceptionally creamy, scallop that had a delightful hint of lime, chewy ark shell and a plump oyster. Definitely worth the price tag!

[Bamboo Charcoal Toast with Matsuba Crab Meat & Paste]
One of the chef recommendations, it’s easy to understand why everyone is raving about this! There was more than enough filling to spread on the three pieces of crispy toast already covered with cheese. The smoky flavor of the bamboo charcoal toast was quite prominent, but did not overpower the crab and truffle.

[Burdock with Sakura Shrimp Tempura]
Another chef recommendation. The unique combination of crunchy burdock with distinctive sakura shrimp covered in a light batter made this a healthy and memorable dish. We were also quite impressed that the tentsuyu dipping sauce was still steaming when served to our table.
