We shared the soup of the day (a creamy pumpkin soup) and the perfect egg, which was an innovative recreation of a poached egg submerged in a sweet soupy base with mushrooms - highly recommended!
[Main Course]
Both of the grilled meats had beautiful plating with a nice pairing of sides. We preferred the lamb more than the beef as it was naturally more delicate and juicier without being too gamey, but both were exceptional in terms of taste and texture.
[Dessert]
Although it says ‘mini’ chocolate fondant, the portion was still quite big and we were stuffed after finishing one each. The combination of the hot gooey molten middle and frosty vanilla ice cream was simply irresistible, though I think I’ll probably go for some tea next time to feel less guilty
