There has been several new tempura shops and I recently tried 2, Tenya and Kaneko Hannosuke. The batter was thin but it wasn't crunchy enough. It was also a bit oily compared to Kaneko. The egg was beautifully made though.However the price difference between the two shops can be up to 50 dollars so please take that into consideration before choosing between the 2 shops.
