Years ago, shortly after my admission as a lawyer, I began a 3 months sabbatical to learn a western cuisine - I was not at an age to splurge in Le Cordon Bleu - I had opportunity to dwell in Italian cuisine, so I know a thing or two about it.I must say, I’m really impressed with the quality of delivery from Pizza Express and the wide selection of pizzas in particular. Most shocking of all, as an American chain store, it’s pizza dough is very authentic Italian - the soft breezy dough.Braised Bee

Braised Beef & Mushroom Pizza 燉牛肉蘑菇薄餅, Pecking Duck Pizza 北京填鴨薄餅 (HK$153) and Calabrese Pizza 辣肉腸薄餅 (HK$188) are all my favourite.A special mention is worthy of the iconic rectangular shaped Calabrese Pizza as it features a VERY tasty Italian spicy sausage ‘Nduja’ (意大利辣肉腸) which has a very strong Tabasco kind of flavour and spiciness, absolutely blows my mind. Mind you, very spicy 🌶!

Meatball & Bolegnese (HK$68), my favourite appetiser of all, comes with the puffy bread balls for dipping. I recommend it because it’s not expensive and in a way, it’s a meal on its own!
Chicken Wings (HK$68/ 6 pcs) are also excellent, remember to order more as it is easy to under order these delicious wings.
Fusilli Ai Funghi (HK$130) was nice, mild flavour, pasta a bit oily for my liking, and could do with more mushrooms, but my friends loved it.
